01 / Product world

Choose the product world before the individual style.

Start by deciding whether the immediate opportunity sits in SLEEP, LINGERIE or a deliberate combination of both.

SLEEP ranges are often organised around use, season, comfort and gifting. LINGERIE requires closer attention to fit, support, coverage, structure and component compatibility.

02 / Commercial context

Define the customer and sales context.

Write down who the end customer is, where the product will be sold, the target price position and what problem the first selection should solve.

The same product can be suitable for one channel and difficult for another. The decision is commercial, not only aesthetic.

03 / Product roles

Give every product a job.

A focused shortlist is easier to evaluate when every item has a purpose.

  • Core products are understandable and repeatable.
  • Hero products create visual interest.
  • Seasonal products support a campaign window.
  • Coordinating products connect the range.
  • Add-on products increase assortment value.

04 / Route choice

Use the cooperation route to control risk.

Ready Stock starts from 10 pieces per product with mixed colours and sizes allowed. Private Label starts from 30 pieces per colour for agreed labels, hangtags and packaging while the original product remains unchanged. Custom Development usually starts around 300 pieces per style, with approximately 100 pieces per colour, when the product itself needs to change.

The first product decision should reduce uncertainty, not create a wider catalogue.
